Where legacy meets new vision.

Why Raaw-Art?

At Raaw-Art, it is more than representation — it’s revelation. Every artist Elle works with is chosen not just for talent, but for resonance. She sees what others often overlook: the soul of the work, the potential of the creator, the story waiting to be told.

Elle’s integrity is the foundation of every collaboration.

She doesn’t just make deals—she builds relationships. Artists trust her because she listens deeply, nurtures with intention, and never compromises their vision. Collectors trust her because every piece is thoughtfully curated, never transactional, always intentional.

She promises to elevate the artist. To honor the story. To protect the work. And to ensure that each client walks away not with a product, but with something meaningful—something alive.

This is not a gallery that imitates. This is a gallery that reveals.

Elle has always believed art isn’t just meant to be admired, it’s meant to be understood, felt, and carried forward. Elle’s connection to RaawArt is personal. It's not just that she believes in the work — we speak the same language: one of story, legacy, and intentional disruption.

Elle comes from a long lineage of art innovators. Her great-grandparents brought art publishing from Holland to New York, blending European tradition with American expression. They didn't just sell prints — they sparked visual conversations. Some of that translated into paint, but more importantly, into perspective.

That thread continues in Elles’ family to this day. Her relatives now run significant art enterprises, including Donald Art Company and Bonnist International. These names hold weight in the art publishing world, but more than that, they represent a deep-rooted responsibility to protect, elevate, and reframe how we see creative work.

Founder (2012):

Caroline Aim

Growing up in Paris, surrounded by art from a young age, Caroline naturally ventured into the art world after university. To deepen her understanding of the art market, she completed a master course at Sotheby’s and furthered her education in Sotheby’s London Modern & Impressionist department. With a strong grasp of the industry, Caroline founded Raaw-Art, a platform dedicated to supporting emerging artists by promoting their work and guiding them through the complexities of the art market

RaawArt was born once before, in the heart of Manhattan.

Created in 2012 by Caroline Aim, a visionary deeply rooted in the art and culture scene, RaawArt was a bold and elegant space that brought together emerging artists, classic car collectors, and the spirit of Tribeca. Her work with Maximilian Wiedemann and others planted the early seeds of what RaawArt could become.

“I was just ten when I first stepped into that world.

A decade passed, and the gallery doors stayed closed. But something in me stayed open, waiting, listening as I grew into myself. And in October 2024, when I wished to hone and direct my gift and passion, I turned to my mentor, Caroline, for direction. Without hesitation, she entrusted what was left of RaawArt to me. I didn’t see it as a handoff—I saw it as a return.

I picked up RaawArt with reverence—but also with vision.

With new artists, fresh purpose, and a heart that’s both entrepreneurial and deeply spiritual, I began again. RaawArt is now a living, evolving expression of legacy and rebirth—honoring the past while creating what’s new”.
